Rooms at the Holland Inn
Here is a brief history of the three buildings and pictures of all the rooms.

There are five rooms in the main house. This house was first opened as an inn, brand new in 1997. The room names are derived from mountains and hikes on the island. You do not need to climb to the rooms.

This building houses the inns' common areas. The living room, parlor, and sun porch each offer ways to peruse maps, menus and local information. The sun porch also offers a variety of games and books, for your enjoyment.

The "at home" feeling of the house and bedrooms, the innkeeper sharing local insight, and the joy and surprise of a new and different gourmet breakfast every morning really sets the Holland Inn apart.

In 2002 the property was expanded across the backyard, adding four brand new rooms, with the renovation of what is called the Quietside Cottage. This house sits just behind the main house with a big open yard and nicely landscaped paths to take you between.

Most of the rooms in this house are larger than the main house rooms and have significant sitting areas, some with a balcony or private patio. There are no common areas in the Quietside Cottage.

Bubbles

In 2013, The inn expanded again with four brand new rooms, which extend off the back of the main house. We have a handicap accessible room, one room has a king bed and the others have queens. These new rooms are not large, but they are new and very comfortable.
All of the rooms at Holland Inn have private baths with modern amenities, A/C, cable TV, high speed wifi, and a delicious and healthy full gourmet breakfast.

We permit only two people per room in all rooms at the inn. A child needs to be at least 16 years old to occupy their own room.

Located on the second floor of the main house, the Bubbles is named after Bubbles Mountain, which looms over Jordan Pond and the Teahouse. The room has a built in queen bed (with access on only one side) and a full bath. It is the smallest room at the inn; the guests love the bed and romantic coziness.

Cadillac Mountain has a huge variety of trails on, around and up to it, including a road for cars. My favorite hike is to start [take the free bus] at the North Ridge Trail, taking it to the top, then descending on the South Ridge Trail. This is a great, scenic, one way trip of about 3 1/2 hours. In July and August, you should keep your eyes open for lowbush blueberries around the exposed rock ledges.
